J. has been active in the pulse of Lawrence Growth by serving on the Lawrence Home Builders Association Board of Directors and as a Chairperson of the Douglas County Board of Zoning Appeals for 12 years. As a member of the Lawrence Chamber, J. has served on the EDC (Economic Development Committee) Board as its longest sitting member and on its newer sub-committee board for Affordable Housing. He has also been a Bank Board Member for one of the few locally owned banks. He rounds up his community service as a past board member of the Douglas County Community Corrections Advisory Board and Terravest served as a fund raiser and organized improvements for the expansions to the Fraternal Order of Police Club House and as a donor and builder for the CASA Play House auction, a community organization acting as an advocate for the protection of our children.
Christine Stewart is a CPA and handles the management of the company’s accounting and general operations of the company allowing J. to have more one on one time with clientele.

Briarwood, an entire subdivision of American Craftsman styled homes with front porches and alleyways continues to be one of the fastest reselling markets in Lawrence.
